Event Location
Manning Park is situated at the west end of Azalia Road, Spearwood. It encompasses Manning Lake, surrounding semi-open area and hills to the west and south. These are crisscrossed by tracks, providing a safe and interesting environment for school orienteering. This area has not been used for Schools Orienteering Championships for many years so will provide a new challenge for students who have participated in previous championships.

Event time
Competitors will have start times from 10.30am at one or two minute intervals. The Championships will conclude with an award presentation at approximately 1.00pm.
Awards will be presented to the first 3 placegetters in both individual and pairs categories, and to the Champion School.

Separate events are held each year for Primary and Secondary schools to provide the best possible orienteering experience.
