Location: Ascot & Interclub relays
The 2017 Interclub Relays will be at Garvey Park Sprint Map. Teams are organised prior to the event via your club, so if you have entered a team make sure to be there by 12.30pm to completed team registration and be at the briefing and mass start.
The relay briefing will be at 12.45pm and the mass start at 1pm

Foreign Correspondent Report from New Zealand
The World Masters Games are held every 4 years and this edition is in Auckland with some 28,000 athletes from 100 countries makes for a colourful city and buzz around the cafes and bars. The opening ceremony was held at Eden Park, the home of the All Blacks, with Mauri dancing, lasers and a few speeches. The WMG is an open competition and the athletes range from Ex-Olympians to the typical “man on the street”, the oldest competitor at 101 years.

NavDash 4 : Murdoch University
NavDash returns on Saturday afternoon, utilising another of our popular and challenging campus maps.
NavDash are short distance (2-3.5kms), line courses where controls must be visited in the numerical order shown for each course, making the most of the complex buildings and passages of a university campus. The hard courses are navigationally challenging while the easy course is more suitable for novices and children.

For the next in the series of Mountain Bike Orienteering events we return to the popular Kangaroo Gully Map, with former national MTBO Manager Ian Dalton setting expect some first class courses to test your MTBO skills.

Location: Goat Farm Mountain Bike Park
Looking for a different Orienteering experience, this event will be a bit different to your nomal bush event and is set Trail Orienteering style. So while cross country routes will still be an option, longer trail routes will be there for those that want to stretch out and run the tracks.
There will be 3 courses that have been designed to use the tracks and avoid the bush. We encourage competitors to do this event without a compass.

It is not an April Fool joke! The weekend of April 1st & 2nd will see SWOT hosting a double header event in Bunbury. Come enjoy Autumn Orienteering in Bunbury.
The weekend kicks offs with courses in the Maidens Park and the southern edge of the city. The Maidens is a triangular section of sand dunes and bush to the south of Bunbury. Ricky Thackray has been rewarded for his great results at the Victorian MTBO championships with selection in the Australian MTBO team heading to the world championship events in Lithuania later this year. After placing 2nd in the sprint, 1st in the long distance and 1st in the middle distance at the event, which were also the selection races, Ricky earnt his place on the Australian team.
