Sunday 12th July 2020 Jan Lovers Lane

The sun shone but numbers were down a little for our second event of the season at Lovers Lane near Toodyay.

Whilst parts of the location were picturesque, some orienteers are not too keen on the quarry location.  Many who came were not enjoying the steeper parts of the terrain or the parrot bush.  However, while there may not have been too much love for the setters despite the venue name, being out in the winter sunshine righted most wrongs and many stayed after the event to picnic and enjoy each other's company with appropriate social distancing.

Thanks to Melinda for computer operation, Jan Fletcher, Event Organiser, ably assisted by Ian Fletcher plus Moreen Cox, Zali Dale and Vanessa Smith who helped with arena set up, plus Toivo Pedaste, Phil Taylor and Robert Graieg who collected controls.
Results are available here.

Photos from the event, thanks to Nicole Davis, are on our Facebook page.
