Jumbuck 1Sunday 8th July 2018

The river was flowing and the courses made the most of the views as a host of orienteers enjoyed the Jumbuck Hill map at Walyunga National Park. A great way to spend a Sunday morning. School holidays saw lots of families enjoying the day out too.

With a lovely sunny day and close proximity to Perth the event saw lots of newcomers come and try orienteering for the first time. We really hope you enjoyed your time and will come and join us again. Volunteers who helped on the day to make the event happen were Sue Dowling, Lois and Rob West, Phil Dufty, Hadrien Devillepoix, Jen Porter, Eleanor Sansom and Rob Beattie. Your help was much appreciated.

Wondering what an orienteering map and course look like? Check out the maps and photos from the event of the at the Orienteering WA Facebook page and see how you would have tackled it from the comfort of your armchair.
