The ninth event of the 2025/26 MetrO series was held at Lake Claremont. Seventy seven competitors explored the parks, streets and hills around the lake, venturing into the neighbouring suburbs of Swanbourne and Mount Claremont. Thankfully the temperature cooled down to provide more pleasant running conditions than last week.

Congratulations to the day’s winners. The fastest male and female competitors were Rohan and Christine on the short course, Ricky and Liisa on the medium course, and Joseph and Veronika on the long course. A big thank you to all helpers on the day including Craig, Amy and Rachel for pre-event setup, Kate on the computer, and control collectors Nick, Ricky, Tash, Joseph, Susan, Chris, Carolyn and Rosie.

Results are in Eventor, and more detailed analysis cane be found on the MetrO Series Splits page.
Upload your track to Livelox and compare your route choices with those of you fellow orienteers.

Also check the current MetrO Series Standings. In some classes, there is only 1, 2 or 3 points between first and second place across the season.
