Volunteer Awards

Vanessa Smith – Orienteering design and artwork

Her outstanding design and artwork have made our sport visible to many people. In the last year or two she has designed visually catchy pamphlets to distribute to families and young people at Park Runs etc., designed posters and shirts for many occasions, the latest being the OWA shirt that was much admired at the 2025 Aus Champs, designed club banners for KO and WOW and Yearbook covers for 2024 and 2025. She understands how to design work that visually encompasses the ideas that she is being asked to communicate, and she works to tight schedules.

Rachel West – Organiser of WA National Orienteering League in Perth
