The Summer Series Sprint 2 Orienteering Race, held at Shenton College, brought together nearly 100 participants for an exciting afternoon of sprint orienteering. The beautiful summer weather provided the perfect backdrop for competitors of all ages and experience levels, including many first-timers and family groups, to navigate their way through the school grounds.

The expertly set courses by Ekaterina Klyukina challenged participants with fast-paced navigation and strategic thinking. On the Long Course, Ricky Thackray and Kate Braid showcased their skills to claim victory. The Short Course saw strong performances from Neve Lommers and Robert Graieg, while the Oakley Family excelled on the Easy Course, earning top honours among newcomers.

A special thank you goes to Ekaterina Klyukina for her outstanding course setting, as well as to Sharon McFarlane and Mark Lommers for welcoming newcomers and giving beginner briefings. The smooth operation of the event was supported by dedicated volunteers, including control collectors Ian and Janet Fletcher, Jen Graham-Taylor, Rosemary Kullman, Helen Bailey, Katherine Lommers, and Riley McFarlane.

Congratulations to all participants and a big thank you to everyone who contributed to making the day a success!
