Event report: MetrO 9

Hillarys Park, Hillarys

The weather was kind - not too warm and the sea breeze had arrived. As course setter Nick said, there were lots of twisting roads to untangle, and not just horizontal directions to consider! And there was a very good turnout of participants, both new and experienced.

On the Short course the fastest runners (male, female) were Edmund Toomey and Imogen Phillips. Fastest on the Medium course winners were Liam Dufty and Liah Morley. Long course fastest finishers were Sten Claessens and Veronika Vavrova.

Thanks go to setter Nick Dale, with assistance from Mark Lommers. Thanks also to the many WOW members and others who provided support in various ways.
