Tomato Lake, Kewdale

With 89 participants, the Kewdale MetrO had the largest turnout so far this season. Although the weather was hot during the day, it cooled down just in time for the competitors to enjoy the shorter than average courses that involved a lot of route choice.

Congratulations to this week’s winners. On the short course Robert Graieg (although Tony was in front until a mishap with the finish location) and Carol Brownlie. On the medium course Craig Dufty and Liisa Hirvonen, both with good route choices: Craig only running 4.2 km and Liisa 4.0 km. And the long course winners were Sten Claessens and Rebecca Getty.

Thanks go to Rosalie McCauley, Michelle Martin and Melinda Richards for helping set up the assembly area, and to Rachel West for conducting the newcomer briefing. Also, thanks to BO members for collecting controls, especially the Dufty-West clan. Lastly, thank you to the setter Oliver Martin.

Results are in Eventor, and you can check out controls visited, splits and more on the details page.

Upload your track to Livelox and compare your route choices with those of your fellow orienteers.
Note: As of December 2023, you can no longer use your Eventor username and password to log in directly to Livelox. You now need your own username and password. Check out Livelox documentation for more information on this change.

Also the current 2023-2024 MetrO Series standings are now available.
