Location: Ngangaguringguring, Flynn Road, east of Sawyers Valley
The WA Long Distance Championships returns to the familiar map of Ngangaguringguring offering complex navigation with a mixture of jarrah/marri and wandoo forests, with sheoak groves.
This event is open to everyone and, while it is a championship, if you don’t want to compete, you can just come along and choose an enter on the day course. Just starting out? Instructors are available at each event to guide newcomers through the registration process and help you get started on the right course for your level of ability and fitness. Families and groups are welcome.
Registration: For Championship and open classes please pre-enter via Eventor by Monday 17th September.
Enter on the day non championship courses will be available
Enter on the Day Registration: available 9.00 – 11.00am.
Start times: from 9:30am for pre-entry.
Enter on the day after pre-entry starters.
Courses Close: 1.00pm
Please check back at the assembly area by 1pm even if you have not completed your course.
Directions:
Turn right from Great Eastern Highway into Flynn Rd approx. 11kms after Sawyers Valley and 1km before The Lakes Roadhouse. Follow Flynn Rd to a T junction in 7km, then turn left and follow Orienteering signs to the assembly area.
