Long Distance State Championship

Location: Marginata, Yarra Road, near York

The WA Long Distance Championships returns to the familiar map of Marginata offering complex navigation with granite rock and a mixture of sheoak and wandoo forests.

This event is open to everyone and, while it is a championship, if you don’t want to compete, you can just come along and choose an enter on the day course. Instructors are available at each event to guide newcomers through the registration process and help you get started on the right course for your level of ability and fitness. Families and groups are welcome.

Registration: For Championship and open classes please pre-enter via Eventor by Monday September 11. Enter on the day courses will be available
Enter on the Day Registration: available 9.00 – 11.00am.
Start times:  from 9:30am for pre-entry.  
Enter on the day after pre-entry starters.
Courses Close: 1.00pm
Please check back at the assembly area by 1pm even if you have not completed your course.

From Perth take Great Eastern Highway to the Lakes turnoff towards York. Follow Great Southern Hwy for 13.3km to Yarra Road. Turn right into Yarra Road.  Proceed for approximately 10km and follow signs to the assembly area.  Parking: Parking will be on Yarra Road
Please note   Camping on the Saturday night will NOT be available.
