The Junior Camp was held in Bullsbrook from the 1-3 July with 25 participants reaping the benefits of orienteering coaching, attending an event and lots of other fun events.

Training at Russell’s Gully, courtesy of Rachel West and Craig Dufty, was damp but well appreciated while a games night was enjoyed by everyone.

At Spice Brook many camp attendees put new found skills and techniques to the test with higher course levels than they had previously tried. Plus there was the ‘VE Challenge’ which many ran as a second course, with Liam Dufty taking line honours in a time of 14.09 minutes for the 2.3km course.

At the Camp Kerem base everyone enjoyed a low ropes course and a quiz night and other activities plus a night O event all were included in a packed 3 days.

Thanks to all the coaches, Rachel, Rob, Lois, Jan, Harry, Tyler, Kelly, Jill, Graham and our bus driver Ian and Craig who helped place controls.
