Location: John Forrest National Park
John Forrest is a long-time favourite for orienteers and the sprint map based around the Wildflower Tavern makes the most use paths, picnic areas and the bush.
Registration: 1-2pm
Starts: from 1.30pm until 3pm
Beginners Briefing: 1.30pm
Courses available: long, short and easy
Pre-entry is not required.

If you are new to NavDash perhaps you might like some Sprint Orienteering tips or make sure you arrive in time for the beginners breifing. Gaiters are recommended but depending on your course and route choice may not be a necessity. Some bush will be involved. Park entry fees will apply to this event. Please note that this venue is within a National Park and dogs are not allowed.
Directions: Enter the National Park on Park Rd (either entrance 2 or 3 from the bottom of the hill) and follow it to the park entry - directions to the John Forrest tavern. Park entry fees of $12/$6 concession per car apply (car pool to save costs) or pre-purchase a national parks pass from the Department of Parks and Wildlife.
Please pay at the park entrance.
