Saturday 18th March 2017

NavDash returns for 2017 at one of Perth’s most popular campus maps, with a Saturday afternoon event at Curtin University kicking things off.

NavDash are short distance (2-3.5kms), line courses where controls must be visited in the numerical order shown for each course, making the most of the complex buildings and passages of a university campus. The hard courses are navigationally challenging while the easy course is more suitable for novices and children.

Curtin University is a highly complex campus on a gentle slope with many stairs and some overpasses but courses are nearly all at ground level.  This map was used for a World ranking event in 2014 and is one of our best urban maps.

The course lengths, by distance covered, are:

Hard Long: approx. 3.5 km
Hard Short: approx. 2.3 km
Easy: approx. 1.6 km.
