Extreme Weather Policy

At this stage Saturday’s (2nd February) forecast is for a hot day, but with cooling South-Westerly breezes by the afternoon.  Should this change and the weather become more extreme, Orienteering Western Australia’s Extreme Weather Policy may be implemented.  This may mean shortening of the courses, or making them non-competitive.  In very extreme conditions the event may be cancelled.  All participants are asked to bring a good supply of fluids (water is best!), and to make sure they (participants) are well-hydrated before the start.
