Aus MTBO Championships

The Australian Mountain Bike Orienteering Championships are this year set to be held in the red centre, Alice Springs, on the 'long' weekend of June 14-16 2014.  The tracks around this area have been unofficially voted as the 'second best trails you'll find in the world' (source unknown).

The organisers have promised some challenging courses across the three days and you'll also get the chance to ride against our Kiwi neighbours, with the event being held in conjunction with the Aus/NZ Challenge.  If you only ever travel for mountain bike orienteering once in your life, do yourself a favour and head across for this.  See full details at the South Australian orienteering website.  Make sure to check out the video footage.
