First MTBO event for 2014
Banyowla - Sunday 23rd March 2014

The first Mountain Bike orienteering event for the year will be held in bushland in the Kelmscott/Martin area of the Perth hills. This is a great area to get on your bike, hit the hills and hone those navigational skills.
The area contains mostly old 4WD and dirt bike tracks, hobby farms, a dry water canal and pipeline and small quarry areas. The short course avoids the escarpment whereas the medium course goes partway down and the long course uses the whole escarpment so may get quite steep.

Courses: Long (30km) Medium (20km) Short (11km)
Registration: 9:00 – 11:00am
Start times: From 9:30 – 11:30am
Bring: Bike, helmet, water, map board (limited hire boards available), cord for attaching SI tag to bike, puncture repair kit, Sportident e-tag.
