Saturday 25th January 2014

The Trigg Metro Series event will now be held this coming Saturday, starting from South Trigg Beach. Registration will be open at the usual time of 4.15pm, and the event will start at 5.00pm.

The Metro Series is very suitable for beginners, with no previous orienteering experience necessary, and members of the public are most welcome at this event. There will be a briefing for newcomers at approximately 4.45pm.

A choice of three courses will be available, all with the same easy navigation but with different approximate distances of 2-3kms, 4-5kms and 7-8kms. For more information about the event format and procedures visit the Urban Event Guide page, where you will also find a sample course map.

Access to South Trigg Beach is from West Coast Highway between Pearl Parade in Scarborough and Karrinyup Rd - either access road to the car parks from West Coast Highway will do. The nearest Mitchell Freeway exit is Karrinyup Rd, and the nearest train station is Stirling (5.5kms).
