Ashdale Primary School, Darch
The final MetrO Series event for 2013. This weekends event starts at Ashdale Primary School and takes in Belvoir Park and Kingsway sporting fields. There will be up to 30 checkpoints marked on a specially prepared orienteering map that is used to help navigate your way around the local parks and streets.
The MetrO Series events are for everyone, attracting walkers and joggers through to champion runners. If you like running or walking with a navigational challenge, you will love the MetrO Series.
No previous orienteering experience is necessary, and members of the public are welcome at this event. There will be a briefing for beginners at approximately 4.30pm. More information for beginners is available at the MetrO Series page.
There will be three courses on offer of approximately 3km, 5km and 8km's.
Registration will be open from 4.00pm to 4.50pm, with start time of 5pm.
