July Double header weekend

A weekend of orienteering to enjoy this weekend with NavDash in the Swan Valley and in the bush at Marginata. Both events are enter-on-the-day and everyone is welcome. Instructors will be on hand and assistance is available for those new to the sport or trying it for the first time. Courses range from those suitable for experienced orienteers to first time participants.

NavDash: Christmas Tree Creek, Jane Brook, Saturday 27th July 2013

The Nav Dash series is close too wrapping up for 2013, this is the second last event before the season finale of the WA State Sprint Championships to be held on 10th August 2013. At Christmas Tree Creek event you'll find plenty of creeks plus sections of runnable bush. The venue is a former paddock on the western edge of John Forrest National Park, very open with patches of regrowth forest, and lots of rocks of various sizes and formations. Registration will be open from 1.00pm until 2.00pm.

Sunday morning in the classic West Australian Jarrah forest. close to the city and depending on your course you might get some great views of the city too! A full range of courses available to choose from on the day and this is a State Orienteering League event for those looking to gather points for the Orienteer of the Year awards.
