This Sunday’s orienteering event is at Calophylla and once again features beautiful, open Wandoo forest. Enjoy the excitment of Orienteering this weekend.

A full range of courses will be available, including the usual Starter courses for beginners. Registration at the event will be open from 9.00am until 11.00am.

Equipment: Sport Ident tag, compass, tick repellent, leg protection, water Facilities: Cake Stall

Map Notes: Courses E1 to E3 will not have the legend or control descriptions printed on the map.
The map colours will be varied from ‘normal’ digital prints. A map with the legend will be displayed. This is part of a set of trials to find a colour set that makes digitally printed maps legible for a wider range of orienteers. Please pass any comments on the colours to Ian Fletcher or Noel Schoknecht.

Directions: Take Great Eastern Highway to York Rd turn off at the lakes. Follow York Rd for 14km to Yarra Rd and turn right. Follow Yarra Rd 1.7km then turn left into Talbot Rd West. Follow this for 7.6km then, 900m after the river crossing, turn right into Ridley Rd and follow it for 2.3km to the parking area. Walk about 200m to the Assembly area. LOST event officials and helpers may park at Assembly.
