The second MetrO event of the year was a great success, with over 100 entries. The location was great being beside the Canning River which had a cooling effect.

There were many newcomers, as well as many kids from the junior camp. One of the juniors, Yumito, took out first place on the short course, with Rosalie being the fastest female. Ricky sandbagged the medium course, coming in first, and Ceri was the fastest female. On the long course, Sten showed that he still had the most experience with route choice, coming in first place, and Veronika Vavrova was the fastest female.

A huge thank you to Melinda Richards, who helped on the computer, a job that is usually done by the Nomads, but they were too busy shadowing the camp kids. And thank you to all the control collectors, another job normally done by the Nomads, but they had to leave straight away to get the camp kids to dinner.
