The next MetrO event will take place in Mt Pleasant. The course has several steep hills particularly north of the assembly area. If desired, it is possible to avoid the hills with route choice, but that may result in an increased distance.
Pre-entry (preferred) will be available via Eventor. You will also be able to enter on the day at the event.
Courses: Three courses will be available - Short (2-3km), Medium (5-6km)and Long (8-9km).
Assembly area: Blue Gum reserve in Mount Pleasant, at the corner of Canning Ave and Karoonda Road.
Parking: Along Canning Ave and Karoonda Road, or the larger car park at the Squash/Tennis Centre.
Start Time: Mass start, at 5pm.
Courses close: 6:15pm. Please return to the assembly area by this time, even if you have not finished your course.
Facilities: Toilets are available at the squash centre, 400m south-east of the assembly area.
Bring: Your SI card and compass or these can be borrowed at the event. Also bring sunscreen, insect repellent, a hat and water bottle, a whistle, and comfortable walking or running shoes.
