With its coastal location, the second event in the 2025-26 MetrO series takes in a combination of bushland, urban streets and many pockets of parkland to provide an interesting mix of surfaces and route choices. Come and enjoy the navigational challenges of this area!
Pre-entry (preferred) is available via Eventor. You will also be able to enter on the day at the event.
Assembly area: at the northern end of Ellersdale Reserve.
Parking: to the East along Eddington Road
Courses: Three courses will be available - Short (2-3km), Medium (5-6km)and Long (8-9km).
Start Time: Mass start, at 5pm.
Courses close: 6:15pm. Please return to the assembly area by this time, even if you have not finished your course.
Facilities: Toilets at the adjacent Ellersdale Park Clubrooms.
Bring: Your SI card and compass or these can be borrowed at the event. Also bring sunscreen, insect repellent, a hat and water bottle (plus water and electrolytes for after you finish), a whistle, and comfortable walking or running shoes.
