Bush9, WA Middle Distance Championships
Lovers Ridge/Gnoonabbin
Sunday 27th July
Everyone should enjoy this map area, not used for almost a decade. The longer courses will visit some impressive gullies, there is open wandoo forest, granite slopes and some grazed fields. And everyone finishes on cleared ground beside the arena.
Courses: H1 – H6, M, E and VE. Note that H6 is a new course, for W80 and M85.
Registration: Championship entrants must enter online using Eventor before 23:59pm on 20 July. EOD (Enter on the day) courses will also be available for those not taking part in the Championships. Please bring cash for payment as online payment may not be available.
Start times: Championship entrant start times are from 9:30am. Details will be uploaded to Eventor as soon as possible after pre-entry closes. EOD entrants will start after championship entrants have started.
Courses close: At 1:00pm. Return to the start area if you have not finished your course by this time.
Facilities: Toilet. There is no water on site so bring plenty.
Bring: Your SI card and compass, or these can be borrowed at the event. Also bring insect repellent, water bottle, a whistle, and comfortable walking or running shoes. (And lunch, so you can stay for the presentations.)
More information, including directions to the event, is in Eventor. Be sure to read the Information flyer, including the directions on driving to the event.
