This event, at John Forrest National Park, promises to be a fantastic day out for outdoor enthusiasts of all ages and experience levels. This time, the event will be centred around the Swan View Railway Heritage Trail Hub, located on the western side of the park—a spot rich in both natural beauty and historical significance. Course planning has been completed by Western Nomads Kate and Lachlan Braid.

Participants will have the choice of four thoughtfully designed courses to suit varying skill levels and preferences: Long Hard, Short Hard, Moderate, and Easy. Whether you're looking for a challenging navigation experience or a more relaxed stroll through the bush, there’s something for everyone.

The terrain in this part of the park is known for its intricate rock detail, making it ideal for those who enjoy technical orienteering, while also offering an extensive network of tracks and footpaths to cater to those who prefer clear navigation options. It's a landscape that offers both a physical and visual reward.

Make a day of it and bring your family and friends along to enjoy this popular and scenic location. Take in the sweeping views across the Swan Coastal Plain and experience the unique charm of one of Perth’s most iconic natural areas. Whether you're competing or just exploring, it’s sure to be a memorable day out.
