• Mills Park, Beckenham
  • Sunday, 23 March 2025

Now that the election is over, the polls have decided that the public wants more bush sprints! Located conveniently right next to Roe Hwy in Beckenham, Mills Park will have you voting for more. The park features both recreational and active reserves, intricate pathways, play areas, open runnable (and not so runnable) bush, a lake, and next to no climb (unless you fall into the dry creek and have to clamber out).

After the event you can visit the local cafe (on the map) to pour over your route choice errors or to lament the sitting government. If that doesn't take your fancy then take the kids to the nearby playground. So, petition your local MP today and make a day of it with a democracy sausage (BYO sausage). Whether you run above the threshold or below the threshold, this event will number all the boxes, and your attendance might just make a difference!
