The seventh event of the 2024-25 MetrO Series started from Ferndale Park and took competitors through the streets of Bannister Creek and into the edge of the riverside bushland. With many looping roads and alleyways there were many route choices and different directions to consider.

Competitors on the short course had to collect any 6 controls, the medium any 13 controls and the long course any 18 controls.

The winner on the Long course was Sten Claessens, taking a dominant victory by almost 7 minutes. The Medium course was taken out by Ruben Claessens and Veronika Vavrova, with an impressive effort from the casual group of Stephen and Sue Mundell, just one minute behind Veronika. The fastest male on the short was Mike Sibbald, whilst the fastest female was Sharon McFarlane.

Thank you to Volker Gartz, Ceri Pass, John and Jenny Major, Dave Pass, Wendy Hobley, Sten and Ruben Claessens and Tash Thackray for control collection. A further thank you goes to Riley and Sharon McFarlane for general help and Joseph Coleman for the computer operation. Also a big thank you to Kate who set a challenging and interesting event.

Results are available in Eventor, and detailed splits are on the MetrO Series Splits page.
