This year we have a new access route to Peterdine which has allowed the Long Distance Championships on September 22 to be centred on the SE part of the map that is unfamiliar to most members and probably completely new to people who normally enter shorter courses.

Entries for championship courses are now closed, but entry to non-championship courses will be available on the day.

The courses are mostly in open forest and clearings with good visibility, plenty of rock detail, modest climbs and little undergrowth. Expect some fast winning times.

There are championship courses to suit everyone, with some short (AS) age classes and junior and senior Open B classes as well as the full range of age-group A classes. If you’re not sure what will suit you ask anyone who has been at championships before.

Courses: Championship courses and classes can be found in the Information Flyer.
Registration: Pre-entry online in Eventor is required for championship courses. Entries close 23:59 Sunday 15th September. Entries are now open.
EOD: Enter on the Day will be available from 9:00am to 10:30am. Four courses will be available - H, M, E, VE - with start times after the championship courses have started.
Start Times: 9:30am – 11:30am.
Courses close: 1:00pm. You need to return to the assembly area by this time whether or not you have completed your course.
SI Air: SI Air will NOT be active.
Facilities: Toilet. The O-Shop will be present.
Bring: Your SI card and compass or these can be borrowed at the event. Also bring sunscreen, insect repellent, water bottle (plus water for after you finish), a whistle, and comfortable walking or running shoes. You may need warm/rainproof clothing to change into after running. Please also bring cash for entry on the day as card/EFTPOS payments may not be available.

Directions to the event are in Eventor.
Pre-entry via Eventor is now open.
More information is in Eventor, including the Information flyer.
