We will soon have the opportunity to revisit one of our favourite orienteering areas, known for its bush and farmland mix and the opportunity to run.  This time, however, we will be visiting the SW section of the map. This will not be the only change, as the setter is Jiri Vales, our Czech coach in residence who will bring fresh eyes to the map.

This event is a WA Schools Team Selection Event.

Entries: Pre-registration is preferred via Eventor until 5.00pm Saturday June 15th. You will also be able to enter at the event, from 9am. Please bring cash for entry on the day as card/EFTPOS payments may not be available.

Courses: H1 (5.7 kms), H2 (4.9kms), H3 (3.0kms), H4 (2.5kms), M (2.7kms), E (2.2kms), VE (2.1kms). If you wish to have your performance recorded as part of the State Orienteering League competition, make sure you have entered the appropriate course by consulting this SOL rules.
Registration: 9:00 to 10.30 am.
Start Times: From 9:30 to 11:30 am.
Courses Close: 1:00pm. Please return to the assembly area by this time, even if you have not finished your course.
Facilities: Toilet, water on longer courses.
Bring: Your SI stick and compass, or these can be borrowed at the event. Also bring water and whistle and wear comfortable walking or running shoes. A raincoat and/or sunscreen may be needed. Check the predicted weather.
What not to bring: Your dog! Remember that dogs are not permitted at bush events.
