Yarra Road, Mt Observation

In the lead up to the OWA state long distance championships we have another long event for you - and it's also preparation for the Kambarang Carnival. Spring has finally arrived and some nice flowers are starting to show in the bush so it's a good opportunity to enjoy the forest at its best. This course offers a mix of open fast running forest and some more challenging hilly areas that we all know and love.

Pre-entry through Eventor is preferred. Enter by 5pm on Saturday 9th September.
Enter on the day will be available 9-10.30am.
Courses: H1 (9.9km), H2 (6.6km), H3 (5.4km), H4 (4.0km), H5 (2.4km), M (3.7km), E (2.4km), VE (1.8km).
Start: All courses will have a start adjacent to the assembly area.
Map scale: 1:10,000.
Start times: From 9:30 to 11:30am.
Courses close: 1.00pm. Please return to the assembly area by this time, even if you have not finished your course.
Bring: Your SI card and compass if you have one, or these can be borrowed at the event. Also bring sunscreen, insect repellent, a hat and a water bottle, and comfortable walking or running shoes.
Facilities: Toilet.
What not to bring: Your dog! Remember that dogs are not permitted at bush events.
