Albany's ADHOC is organising a weekend of south coast orienteering for the middle of October.


Saturday 15th October

Mt Elphinstone

On offer is a bush map with tracks, granite rock surfaces, plenty of contours and thick vegetation in a few places. You will need leg protection and your orienteering shoes!

Start times: 1.30pm to 2.30pm, and courses close at 3.30pm.
Courses offered: Easy, Moderate, Hard short, and Hard long.
Control descriptions are available (in Eventor) to print beforehand.
Pre-entry via Eventor is strongly preferred - entering on the day is available but will cost more.

Sunday 16th October

Albany Senior High School & Mt Clarence

Expect a mix of sprint on a school campus plus tracks and small excursions off track. It will be steep but short.

Start times: 8.30am to 10am.
Courses offered: Short, Medium and Long.
Control descriptions are available in Eventor to print beforehand, for Long & Medium Pt 1, and for Short, Medium and Long Pt 2.
Pre-entry via Eventor is strongly preferred - entering on the day will cost more.
