East of The Lakes

This is the second State Orienteering League (SOL) event for 2022 (the first was at Wundabiniring on 22nd May). The terrain used for the courses is varied and includes open forest, some patches of thick vegetation, steeper hillsides with rock detail, and open fast-running areas.

The SOL is a series of orienteering events running throughout the season which is designed to permit comparison of performance within and between orienteers of different age classes to determine the annual orienteer of the year. If you would like to  participate in the SOL, choose your course according to the SOL rules.

Start times: 9:30-11:30am.
Courses close: 1pm.
Pre-enter via Eventor: entries close at 5pm on Saturday 18th June. Enter on the day will be accepted: please bring cash for payment.
Courses available: H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, M, E and VE.
Facilities: Toilet.
Remember to bring:
-    Water: no water on the courses or at the start or finish.
-    Sunscreen, insect repellent, hat.
-    Compass and SI stick, or you can borrow either or both at the event.
-    Leg protection recommended.
