MetrO 8 - Sorrento

Geneff Park, 22 Padbury Circle, Sorrento

Welcome to the first event MetrO event of 2022, perfectly placed at Geneff Park, just by the beach. No controls will be on the beach due to the busy highway but there are plenty of hills and shady valleys to enjoy in your search for controls.

Pre-entry to this event via Eventor is strongly preferred. If you are not a member of OWA you will need to register an account on Eventor before completing your entry. Then, once logged into Eventor, select the event and enter and pay online.

EOD (Enter on the Day) will be available at the event if you are unable to enter beforehand.

Start time: Mass start at 5pm.
Courses: Short (~3 km), Medium (~5 km) and Long (~8 km).
Courses close: At 6:15pm. Please return to the assembly area by this time even if you have not finished your course.
Facilities: Toilets.
Assisting Club: WOW will have members on hand to meet and greet newcomers, provide the novice briefing, and collect controls after the event.

Please bring: Comfortable walking or running gear, water (none provided), sunscreen, and SI stick (loans available).
