Kingsley MetrO 6

Saturday 12th Decembercropped flags

Have a minute? Pre-enter now!

Come enjoy a stroll through the suburbs for our last event of 2020!

Ths map includes an extension of the previous Kingsley map and most of the area is quiet suburban backstreets, almost entirely suitable for prams. There is a small playground that includes tricycle trailer tracks. Dogs must be on leads in the park. There is only one toilet so arrive early to avoid a queue.

The assembly area is on Barridale Drive, Kingsley, just north of the cycle jump/pump track in Shepherds Bush Park. Please do not use the parking bays unless you need to; leave them for picnicking/cycling families. There is verge parking on Barridale Drive and lots more on Newhaven Place. Walk around the NE corner of Shepherds Bush from Newhaven Place to the assembly area.

Three different distances will be on offer: Short 2-3 km, Medium 4-6 km and Long 7-8 km. So whether you're new and trying orienteering for the first time or a seasoned pro, there's something for you.

Pre-registration is encouraged. Please register now through Eventor by Friday 11 December at 23:59. If you forget to pre-enter, you will still be able enter when you arrive at the event on the day. Just don't forget!

This event will be using SI TIMING so bring your SI card if you have one, or pick up your loan card when you arrive (at no extra cost).
