Event Series

Orienteering Western Australia hosts several series of events over the year. These involve results in several events counting towards series winners in various disciplines.

For the MetrO Series this is performances in the urban based summer events.  There are a large number of age categories, plus an award for the club with the highest number or points.

The State Orienteering League comprises a series of events at all competition distances.  There is a handicap scoring system and the results of the competitions determine annual Orienteer of the Year for male and female winners in both junior and senior categories.

The MTBO League determines annual Mountain Biking Orienteer of the Year for male and female winners.  As there are limited participants, there are no separate age categories for juniors and seniors.
