Date: Friday 26th April 2019
This event is an IOF World Ranking Event (WRE) and a National Orienteering League (NOL) event for State Representatives in Elite classes. IOF Athlete ID is required for Elite entries - please refer to Entry FAQ.
Location: Narrogin, (2hrs 30mins SE of Perth)
Summary: New school campus, with surrounding bush which includes some areas of complex contour detail, and many paths and tracks. Afternoon starts.
Start times: Elite races to start at 12.00 noon, followed by other classes at around 1.45pm (depending Elite entry numbers).
Event notes: Remember York 2006, Mandurah 2011, Sprint the SW 2014? This Australian Sprint Championship will be another classic sprint event brought to you by the same team. We have found another outstanding venue, a small but complex school campus, set on the highest point of town, and surrounded by bush covered slopes with some surprisingly detailed contour features. You can't afford to miss this!
Championship Classes: Please check the event listing in Eventor for all available classes.
Elite competitors should review the World Ranking Event Bulletin
EOD: limited courses will be offered. A ‘bush-only’ course will be offered for experienced orienteers not entering the Sprint Championships. See Information flyer in Eventor.
