Here's some things to remember:

  • Don’t talk to other orienteers when on the course
  • Concentrate on doing your own nav
  • Pace-counting matters – especially in bush and farm terrain!
  • Compasses are not yo-yos!
  • You CAN do it!
  • Wear tough, closed-in shoes
  • Thongs are not to be worn
  • Check the Control Code
