Welcome to Carine Regional Open Space Quiz O

Carine Regional Open Space is a 124 acre park located at the corner of Beach and Okely Roads in the City of Stirling. The park has an extensive area of playing fields and many picnic spots centred around two swamps that have an abundance of bird life so it offers many activities for the whole family in addition to orienteering.

Parking is available off both Beach and Okely Roads but the parking areas off Beach Street are best located for orienteers as the start and finish on the map is south of the large building between two parking areas. The start is marked by a triangle and the finish by double circles on the map.
Courses

There is only one course available at Carine Regional Open Space – a scatter course with 20 controls. You can decide to locate all controls or just a few – your choice. You can visit them in any order. When you think you have reached a control site marked on the map, shown by a numbered circle, look at the question on the question sheet that corresponds to that circle number.

Write your answer in the space provided in the numbered box on the question sheet.

There is no time limit, so take your time to enjoy discovering the Carine Regional Open Space.
