Scoring:

  • 100 points will be awarded to the winner of each category at every event, then 99pts for 2nd, 98pts for 3rd, etc.
  • Series awards for the first three placegetters in each category will be calculated on an individual’s best 5 scores over the 2024-25 MetrO season.
  • Each competitor can only qualify for award in one category. If a competitor has completed at least 5 events in more than one course, the course in which the competitor first reaches a total of 5 events will count for an overall award.
  • In the event that two runners achieve 500 points in the same category, a count back using their next best score will be used to select the winner.

Inter-club competition:

The Inter-Club competition will be decided on the basis of a 3-2-1 score for placegetters in all of the final category results.

Notes:

  • Ages for junior/senior are calculated as the age on 31st December 2024, which allows everyone will remain in the same Category for the whole Series, regardless of whether they have a milestone birthday during the Series.
  • Children aged under 11 are recommended to be accompanied by an adult for safety reasons.
  • Please only enter a junior category if the child is predominately doing the navigation. If the adult is navigating, please enter your category as “group”.
